John Hotchkis of Hotchkis Suspension

John Hotchkis is an aftermarket parts manufacturer and former race driver. John’s company, Hotchkis Suspension makes suspension upgrade kits for classic and modern muscle cars, as well as imports. He is one of the founders of the pro-touring movement. His 1971 Camaro was the first classic muscle car to get an LS motor. He brings in his 2011 Camaro and also does a walkaround of a 2012 Porsche Cayman R.

1956 Ford F100

This weeks featured car, well, truck was built by Bodie Stroud (BS Hot Rods). The 1956 Supercharged Ford F100 was built for Bodie’s Father-in-law. It features a supercharged small block Chevy, and all the nice work one can expect from a Son-in-law. Bodie wouldn’t admit who got the better end of the bargain, but the truck is smoking hot. Even Sonny takes a look at the Ford and gives it thumbs up!

Adam Carolla and the Professor Sandy Ganz welcome Jerry Magnuson. Jerry is the founder of Magnuson Superchargers. Jerry talks about his start in the world of supercharging and of course Adam derails the conversation to some of Jerry prior jobs with Dan Gurney and other historic racers. Jerry brings in his 1932 Ford Roadster. It’s fitted with, as you might guess, a Magnuson blower. Chip Foose worked on the finished product and it’s called the ‘Magnatude’. We have at Carolla One Studios Jerry Magnuson’s award winning a 1932 Muroc roadster, the Magnatude. This car has a Marcel body, with finishing touches by Chip Foose. It features a Magnacharged Chevrolet LS1, 6 Speed gearbox and a polished Kugel independent rear end. Jerry Magnuson did a bunch of the work as well, including the hidden headlights as well as many other details on the build.
