1931 Ford Coupe

July 30, 2010

This weeks featured car is Rudi Hillebrand’s award winning 1931 Ford Coupe. Rudi took a basket case car and built it into a excellent example of how to build a period correct Hot Rod. Rudi and a small hand full of people put this car together with much of the work done at his family tool and die shop (http://hillebrandtoolanddie.com/)

What a perfect match. Now This is the car Adam should be driving around town as his signature car.

He would be a comedy Super hero in this beauty and the first comedian Comic book super hero. Adam’s comic book would bring to life all his great rantings and make the world right, with his 1931 Ford Coupe super car and side kick molly.

I would like to buy this car for Adam.

Oh man, I love this car. It’s gorgeous! Bummer that he was having some troubles with the throttle, it would’ve been fun to hear him really get on it. Still, love that idle. Just listened to this podcast and I like what Adam was saying about how driving a car like this is exotic, yet simple. I’ve always been a fan of old stuff, especially cars. Hopefully, I’ll get the chance to build (or at least buy) something like this in my lifetime. Keep up the good work!
